Richard Bingham, the owner and DC (Doctor of Chiropractic) at Northstar Alignment is a dedicated professional in the chiropractic industry. He joined the practice in 2020, bringing his expertise and passion for helping others to the Cordova community.

Richard’s journey to becoming a chiropractor started when he first arrived in Cordova in 2012 with his wife, Mya, who was born and raised in the town. While completing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University, Idaho, and his graduate studies at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, Richard and Mya returned to Cordova during summers to work in construction and fishing jobs. They eventually settled in Soldotna, where Richard gained valuable experience working under Dr. Brian Larson, DC, at Premier Chiropractic.

In April 2020, Richard and his wife made the decision to move back to Cordova and establish Northstar Alignment, a chiropractic and massage therapy practice. They were drawn to the close-knit community and felt a strong connection to the town.

Richard’s inspiration to pursue a career in chiropractic care stemmed from a personal experience when his wife was involved in a snow machine accident. Witnessing the chiropractor’s comprehensive approach, from examinations and x-rays to successful treatments, ignited Richard’s interest in the field. With a natural inclination towards problem-solving, honed through his passion for mechanics and construction, Richard found his calling in chiropractic care. He derives immense satisfaction from using his hands to diagnose and address the root causes of pain, helping patients feel their best and improving their overall well-being.

The moment Richard knew he was in the right profession came when he was able to provide relief to someone suffering from pain using his acquired knowledge and skills. It reaffirmed his dedication to chiropractic care and solidified his commitment to making a positive impact on his patients’ lives.

Outside of work, Richard treasures his time spent with his wife and three children. He embraces the outdoors, enjoying activities such as snowboarding, fishing, hunting, and exploring nature. Additionally, his mechanical aptitude allows him to engage in auto mechanics, further nurturing his love for fixing and building things.

Richard Bingham’s unwavering dedication to his profession and genuine desire to help others make him an integral part of the Northstar Alignment team. With his expertise and passion, he strives to make a positive difference in the lives of his patients, both inside and outside the practice.
